If you experience this common problem the best thing to do is to go to your doctor and see if he will give you an upper GI to see the extent of the damage to the stomach and the esophagus. If it is severe enough you may need to be put on some type of medication. If it is not severe you should ask your doctor to help you get put on a natural diet to help with the neutralization of the stomach acid. The doctor should also be able to look at your case and tell you which kind of the acid reflux causes you may have.
